Q: Will my item be gift-wrapped?
A: All of the jewelry comes individually boxed in Miss ConfidAnce jewelry pillow cases. Items too large to be boxed will be packed into pretty organza pouches.
Q: It's been a few days and I've not yet received my order - where is it?
A: For orders under registered mail, order tracking can be done at http://singpost.com. Key in the Package Reference Number provided in your order invoice. There is no order tracking for orders under normal postage. No replacements will be done for items not received. If you do not want to risk losing an item in the mail, please opt for registered mail.
Q: How do I prevent the gold-plates chains and charms from tarnishing?
A: The findings used are gold plated metal, meaning they will tarnish if left open in the air, being exposed to humidity, perfume, vapour. Your perspiration could also tarnish the metal in the long run. It will not exactly "turn black", but it will cause the gold coating to lose its shine and lustre. Giving that vintage look/feel.Here are some tips on how to prolong the lifespan of your jewelry.
1) Don't wear perfume on your neck with a necklace, or on your wrists with a bracelet, because this will discolour any metal parts. Also, don't get your jewellery wet if you can help it.
2) Clean all jewelry with a tissue after use.
3) Keep it in an enclosed box (use the Miss ConfidAnce jewelry pillow case!) when not in use. However, if you would like the vintage feel to it, leave it in the open air for a natural and gradual tarnished look. I have actually experimented, and the chains left in the open are tarnished in a few months or so. But the chains I have kept in boxes for more than a year still look as good as new. So it also depends on how well you take care of the metal.
Q: How much does it cost to customise jewelry?
A: The cost of a requested customised piece will depend on:
1) The design itself
2) Complexity
3) Materials used
Q: What is the procedure to customise jewelry? How long will the whole process take?
A: You can either sketch out a design you want for me, or you can leave it up to me to create it for you. Alternatively, you can throw in some ideas, styles, or tell me what you want it similar to, etc to give me a head start. Budget should be reasonable according to the demands of the cutomised piece. I will only start to work on the order once both parties agree on the budget. If idea cannot be worked out within the given budget, I may suggest some alternatives to you.Customised piece(s) will take 3-7days to be completed, after which I will send you a picture of the completed jewelry, and you are allowed to request for 10% changes to the piece. Major changes may incur additional costs.
